GRAND OPENING
of Catnap from the Heart's antique booth!
The event will feature a scavenger hunt, a drawing, refreshments and a preview the CatNap booth.
The CatNap booth will feature books, collectible plates, music boxes, records, furniture, and other items for sale. The inventory changes with purchases and seasons and as people donate items. The booth has already helped raise money and awareness since its unofficial start in December.
All the proceeds from the booth benefit the shelter, which in 2009 helped more than 1,150 animals find homes. In addition to cats, the shelter has also housed rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, chinchillas, degus and assorted birds.
The animals have access to veterinary care while awaiting placement in a home. All cats and kittens for adoption are FeLV-FIV negative, are up to date on vaccine, parasite-clear, microchipped and spayed or neutered.
